Yup, that was the exact caption on my FB & IG posts. Well, although it wasn't really dry fry anyway as there was no "oily" meats etc to produce enough oil to cook the fried bee hoon ( vermicelli ). Still it was suffice for an oxymoronic expression, at least to me, lol!~ A failed attempt to qualify as a limerick? Most definitely, lol!~

Time And Tide Wait For No Man

..... and definitely procrastination is a thief of time. :'(

  I wanted to post at least one, just one thing on October, but then October went by in a blink of an eye. Then I meant to do it on November, a simple post will do, but again the month was on fast forward and now we are already in December. Well, if something is not done now, I will definitely have to wait for next year =_=

  And hence, the birthing forth of this post - something just to fill in the gap? Or is it really something of substance, with an effort put in? Nonetheless, a post is still a post and as the author types on his dreary eyes battle to push back the weights that seem to be in the range of more than tens of thousands of whatever metric tons or however one would want to try to measure it........

Alas, the bed beckons,

Passion

So insanity has been defined as "doing the same thing over & over again and expecting a different result" and this quote has been attributed to the famous Albert Einstein, yet there is no concrete proof that he is the source but anyway we're not here to debate on that. What puts a smile on all our faces though is his contribution to society, something I'm sure everyone will agree on. Yet behind all the success, there's always a price to pay, the untold stories of countless failures & challenges. I'm sure there are many unsung heroes with similar experiences but what then is the thing that keeps them going?
  I've once heard someone said that passion is the fuel to success, which is something I will not deny but what about a kid who doesn't talk about success, dreams, goals & all those stuff? Yes, I'm talking about a 6 year old boy that I've observed who just loves to draw, and is really into windmills, car wash, automobiles, hurricanes & tornadoes, planets & the solar system. And in one seating he can draw easily more than 10 pages including even internal organs as in our human body parts plus he is so into planets that he has created his own imaginary planets & naming them, remembering them by heart as if they were real like all the other main planets in the solar system.
  I am one who love to observe & it just amazes me how awesome kids can be, a real source of inspiration if we really take notice. Sometimes I find what's lacking in us adults is the action taken to pursue our dreams & goals.....yup, procrastination is a thief of time & yes we have also heard that time & tide wait for no man but yet often times I find that we think too much & have lost that childlike faith ( am not saying that we rush in as fools because if we fail to plan, we have actually planned to fail ), in fact sometimes what I find we might lack is just a little more courage. As quoted by a couple of presidents - Courage is not the absence of fear, but rather the assessment that something else is more important than fear ( Franklin D. Roosevelt ) and here's how Nelson Mandela put it: "I learned that courage was not the absence of fear, but the triumph over it. The brave man is not he who does not feel afraid, but he who conquers that fear. I love the way this lady quotes it which sheds a slightly different light

Will that undying passion awaken the giant in you? Will those unquenchable flames, the long dormant passions be unleashed, the potentials within be aroused so that we can be propelled forward? YOLO!~ Let's live life to the fullest & have no regrets!~ : )

~Yet Another Close Shave With Death~ YOLO!~ Throwback (20151111) Give Thanks!~

And so like every other Wednesday after the Amway English meeting, I would ride my bike home from Bayan Lepas back to Tanjung Bungah, just that it was drizzling tonight which sometimes do happen. And like most times I would choose to travel via the Mt.Erskine Road but instead of going through the Vale Of Tempe ( winding road ) I would turn into one of the side roads ( Persiaran Greenhill going towards Evergreen Road ). But today something out of the norm happened.

  As I was approaching Penang Chinese Girls Highschool ( PCGHS a.k.a. Peng Hwa ), a vision flashed across my mind - where some may refer to as premonition,  which of course is not out of the norm as I do realize this is one of the ways how the Holy Spirit communicates with me. I saw myself going straight via the main road instead of the usual route which peaked my curiosity. I slowed down from the already slower than normal speed due to the drizzle ( which is more slippery than a heavy down pour ).

  As I stopped at the traffic lights - it was red ( towards main road ), but the lane on my left, turning towards left ( the usual Mt.Erskine Road route I travelled ) was green. As I heard a loud bang, lo and behold 2 young man both rider and pillion rider were on the floor. The bike they were on had just skidded. Were it not for the warning I could have rammed into them and who knows what might have happened.

  This of course reminded me of 2 different occassions, where one accident was averted but another I was seriously injured as I recalled when I showed my bike to the foreman he mentioned that one of my bike tires had already turned into a figure of eight. It all happened because I doubted, that's what it means by delayed obedience is disobedience which of course some might understand. All scenarios there were of course my experiencing of either open visions or close visions of angelic activities. These two occurences are of course stories for some other time, lol!~

  The reason I write this is to first and foremost, remind myself how great God is and also 'pen' down his goodness ( bless the Lord O my soul, and forget not His benefits ), and to glorify Him for He has always been good to me.

  At times like these, similar verse as below pops into mind:

  For what does it profit a man to gain the whole world, and forfeit his soul? ( Mark 8:36 )

  As I state the above, I do not say money is unimportant or we shouldn't work as the Word aptly puts it:

For even when we were with you, we used to give you this order: if anyone is not willing to work, then he is not to eat, either. ( 2 Thes 3:10 )

  What I do want to convey is that life is a fleeting vapour, like the grass and flowers in the field, glorious as they may be, here today yet gone tomorrow. Love always, cherish the people around us, live life to the fullest without any regrets, strife for excellence, embrace destiny, go beyond the extra mile in order to achieve beyond our limitations. More like a reminder to myself, lol!~

Social Media Behaviour

  First time posting via mobile, I wonder what it will look like.....oh well, let's just delve into the subject, straight to point as the title goes. Although it's not a new subject, but stil a great reminder to everyone of us.
  It's a wonder to observe the human behaviour, something which I enjoy doing very much, which I will continue to practise til the day I leave this earth...lol!~ Especially nowadays with social media being such an integral & inseparable part of our lives, it is even easier to observe different human behavioural patterns, be it good or bad.
  Since Facebook is one of the most widely used platform if not the most, how many of us have lately seen a friend or two ranting about his/her boss at work, spouse at home, some even cussin' & swearin', etc. Or are we even one of them >< In fact I just heard a friend mentioned that someone at her workplace was fired because the person due to @$!#+%÷ his/her employer on facebook. Smart move, wise guy :p
  I am not being conservative on this matter but rather I do think that there are etiquettes we need to have on social media platform. It's just like when one is on the road, there are driving ettiquettes we need to follow. Otherwise, if it's minor one may cause a massive jam; a major one would be some Hollywood production, i.e road rage, spectacular accident scenes, kekekekek.....will leave that to your own imagination.
  Coming back to the freedom of expression, that is not limited to words alone, esp on FB ( ok, I tried very hard 2 keep d English s proper s possible...dang, js 4gt abt it..lol ), as the saying goes, a picture paints a thousand words....yes, the profile pic!~ You have them ranging fr normal to scantily clad to plain weird, haha!~ I think nuff said on that since dats js elementary although it is said that 1st impressions are very important, the profile pic has evolved, it can even now be animated @@ Of course now one of the hottest feature would be the "LIVE" video button, well one can have endless possibilties with that, may it be good or bad.
  Having said all this, I am neither for nor against any specific group nor particular individual as I have earlier stated.....I just love to observe people. Although I believe I am not wrong in saying that everything we sow we will reap, it's just a matter of time. Please do not stone me, lol!~ For instance, yes we can argue and say it is utter nonsense & discriminating when a female is dressed suggestively is inviting rape but obviously there has been many such cases. Of course that is absolutely not an excuse for the party committing the crime but then again.....hmmm.....human antics, social behavioural patterns....maybe it's time to enjoy some CSI or NCIS genre? Elementary, my dear Watson ( although some believed that did not originally come from Arthur Conan Doyle -http://www.snopes.com/quotes/signature/elementary.asp ).
  Please do excuse me though if you find my train of thoughts rather random when somehow there is still some traces of connection...simply reminds me when I heard someone quoted that "it is an insult to even compare a super-computer to the human mind". Well I do have to apologize if at this point of time I come across to you as rumbling, at least I guess it's better than some ranting on social media, lol!~ Well, I hope I have not caught you off guard as sometimes when I switch into this mode my bluntness can be perceived to be too sharp, I wonder where the phrase blunt force trauma comes from...hmm.....I mean since we are on the subject of human behavioural patterns right? And people say one can read a person by scrutinizing the way they write even without having to suss them directly......

Declutter

  As the title says....DeClutTeR!~!~ Yup, that's what I have been doing these few days!~ Have been deleting all those photos in my phone!~ I'm sure you guys know what I mean..........even after backing up my photos onto my PC, which I do very often, I still found more than 1K photos nicely snugged in my phone.......wow, sounds like a spyware or virus, lol!~ And I'm sure you guys know what I mean, especially your phone starts to lag & you wonder where all that extra storage space went & the bar show red plus sometimes even the warning exclamation mark pops up....er.....*hint*....*hint*...did you check your watsapp videos?!......argh!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It simply means it's time to declutter......
  
  By the way, I had to remove several plug ins for this blog as well since the load time was unusually painstakingly slow, so yeah once that was done, the respond time popped back to normal. Found this nifty website which I could check the health of my blog ( https://tools.pingdom.com/ )
  
  Even a nation needs decluttering from time to time....don't mean to sound political but can't be helped since the 1MDB case happening in our country.....we are having an epic screening now, even The Wolf Of Wall Street is no match for The Wolf In Sheep's Clothing that is currently running LIVE from Malaysia, lol!~
  
  Anyway, back to decluttering, imagine an old car getting an overhaul, or having a fast, to go through a detoxification process which our bodies need from time to time, it's like a breathe of fresh air, woot woot!~

  Oh yes, by the way, I even have a facebook group which I created with about 1K members but collecting cobwebs which I am reviving now.....I guess the name itself needs de-cluttering......

"Penang Jumble Sale ( Old & New ) - 1 Man's Junk Is Another Man's Treasure" .....I guess that's why it has been sluggish....even the name which is too long pose as a problem. The group name has been changed into "Garage Sale Auction Style MY". One might ask why MY? Just simply I'm from Malaysia & we are currently keeping it within that at the moment. If you want to know more, just PM me from there since I'm the administrator ;) So....... what are you waiting for!? Time to DECLUTTER!~ Wohoo!~

A Clean Slate

Yes, so this blog has been started since 2007 but has been left unmanaged for some umpteen years, aside from the occasional posts like once every....few years? Lol!~ Anyway I have deleted all those posts & started everything anew - thus the title goes!~ I wonder what will come next after this post....haha!~
